Yorkshire Puddings

There's nothing like a crispy Yorkshire pudding to go with your Sunday roast and they are really easy to make. The secret to getting gloriously puffed-up Yorkshire puddings is to have the fat sizzling hot and giving them an extra five minutes to get them nice and crispy.

  • 160 g Plain flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 ml milk
  • salt & pepper
  • oil


  • Put flour, eggs and milk in a bowl and whisk together.
  • Add the salt and pepper for seasoning.
  • Fill muffin trays with 1/3 oil and place in oven at 200degrees, leave to get hot for 5 minutes.
  • Add the batter mix.
  • Put back in the oven and leave until risen, approx 30-35 mins.
  • When you are think they are done, always give them a couple more minutes to crisp up!!
